Since launching the UNFINISHED Campaign two years ago, we've seen incredible growth—both in the number of people calling Neighborhood Church home and in the maturity of our faith.
Each week, more people gather to stay connected, help out, and grow deep together. And as our church family has grown, so has our capacity for generosity.
We’re stepping into a new season FOR Visalia, fueled by a shared commitment to love, serve, and give like never before.
WHAT GOD’S DONE
Last May, we cut the ribbon on The Commons, a renovated space on our campus. In March, Connect Coffee opened in the Commons to offer our neighbors a place to connect daily from 7AM-5PM. This space acquaints our neighbors with our campus and adds value to our city.
While we made significant upgrades to our auditorium video technology, we simultaneously retrofitted our power systems to be more efficient. We also added The West Wing, a portable environment behind our auditorium used as a gathering space for Groups and peer counseling.
After the Commons opened last spring, we renovated the former Cafe space to become the Next Lounge, a more comfortable space for people to connect and take next steps on Sundays at Neighborhood. The space is also used for Groups and peer counseling during the week.
We want our impact to reach beyond our city and stretch internationally. Our global partner Students International Costa Rica are finalizing plans to build their own community center to transform the lives of people they reach. Your generosity contributed $50,000 to help SI-Costa Rica begin building soon.
WHAT’S LEFT UNFINISHED
Plans are underway to build the Neighborhood Degree Community Center, a central hub in the heart of the Houston Neighborhood!
The community center will be a place where learning and community come together to empower our neighbors and end generational poverty. To amplify our impact in the Houston Neighborhood, we’re raising funds to construct a 4,800 sq ft community center—a launchpad for the next generation.
The space will include:
An Educational Hub: Workshops, mentoring, and leadership development.
Kindergarten to Career Pathway: Programs to prepare students for careers that lift families out of poverty.
A Resource Center for Families: Job training, financial literacy, and access to community services in partnership with other organizations.
Community Space: A venue for family events, cultural celebrations, and peer support, fostering stronger social networks.
WHERE ARE WE FINANCIALLY
PLEDGED
Two years ago, our church family stepped up to pledge and give $1.7 million to our UNFINISHED campaign. We’re so grateful!
SPENT
Of the $1.7 million pledged and given, we’ve so far spent $1.4 million on the Commons, Next Lounge, technology upgrades, land acquisition, and more.
TO BE RAISED
Rising costs due to the current economic reality have increased what we need to raise to build the Community Center. As we break ground and begin construction, we’re trusting God to provide $2.6 million more in pledged financial support.
HOW MUCH AM I ABLE TO PLEDGE?
Generosity won't happen unless you make it a priority. Below is a calculator you can use to plan your giving. Don’t overlook small ways you can adjust your budget.
